What to Expect During Your First Deep TMS™ Visit

Starting a new treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, or other mental health conditions can feel intimidating. At The Depression Clinic, our goal is to make your first Deep TMS™ visit comfortable, informative, and supportive from the moment you walk through the door. Many of our patients come to us after trying medications, therapy, or other treatments without enough relief. Your first visit is designed to help determine whether Deep TMS™ may be an appropriate option for your specific needs.

Before Your Appointment

Prior to your visit, our team may ask you to complete intake paperwork and provide:

Insurance information
Medication history
Previous mental health treatment history
Current symptoms and concerns
Medical history and prior diagnoses

This information helps our providers better understand your condition and treatment goals before your evaluation.

Your Initial Evaluation

Your first Deep TMS™ appointment typically begins with a comprehensive consultation. During this visit, you will meet with one of our providers to discuss:

Depression symptoms
Anxiety or PTSD symptoms
OCD or intrusive thoughts
Sleep issues
Stress levels
Medication history
Previous treatments that have or have not helped

We take time to listen carefully and answer your questions. Every patient’s experience is unique, and we believe treatment should be personalized.
